Do you know?

Exfoliate

No one waits for the Spring Season as much as we Canadians do. While I await spring, the weather is already getting better.

It is time for my Lavender Restorative Exfoliator. This is an amazing exfoliator by The Ayurveda Experience. It comes in dry powder form. Very similar to how we made it back in the days.

Why should I use an Exfoliator?

Natural scrubs promote regeneration processes of skin, and help eliminate dead cells that make the skin look dull and lifeless.

The refreshing smell of Lavender, and the skin brightening properties of Licorice and Indian Madder are an ideal combination, Lavender Licorice Restorative Exfoliator is great for sloughing off the dead skin cells. The scrub also has Oatmeal and Bean flours, along with goat milk. All these therapeutic and natural ingredients clean and exfoliate. Goat Milk helps deep cleanse skin effectively, removing dead cells and making the skin bright. It works best on dull, lifeless skin texture that we have to deal with after winters.

After Abhyanga, wrap yourself in a towel or wear a dressing gown. Let the oil work its magic for at least 30 minutes. Then prepare your bath. Enjoy a warm and relaxing bath. No need to apply moisturizer. You can thank me later.

Get yourself a body wash which has refreshing natural oils.

My spring season go-to is Botanic Hearth Body Wash. It promotes healthy skin. Has sea buckthorn, tea tree, and peppermint oil. Soothes Dry & Irritated Skin. Helps soothe skin irritation, inflammation, clogged pores, and dry skin while cleansing gently.

After application, the skin is gently but perfectly cleansed, soft, fresh, and hydrated.

Tips:

Search for products that are gentle, rich in natural ingredients and without needless chemicals, silicones and parabens.

In addition, I regularly drink my favorite herbal peppermint tea. This tea improves digestion, promotes natural defense mechanisms, and eliminates harmful substances from the body.
