Being constantly productive leads to success.

1. Kick Start with Hydration

Winter air can be dehydrating, and the heater inside the house, and the cold dry winds outside make our bodies dry. So, start your day with a glass of warm water. Sit down and sip slowly. You can add a pinch of grated ginger or turmeric to your water. This simple habit kickstarts your metabolism

Morning natural light is essential for regulating your internal system, especially in winter when days are shorter. Open your curtains and gaze outside while you sip your water or step outside for a few minutes to soak up some sunlight. Natural light can be scarce in winter. Try to soak in as much as you can. You should also use bright and soothing lights inside the house.

6. Mindfulness and Gratitude

Sit somewhere where there is quiet and peace in your house. Close your eyes. Try to think of all the wonderful things in your life. Winter mornings are perfect for reflection and setting intentions. Be grateful for all the things that you have. Being thankful grounds you and brings peace.

Tip:

Fold your hands to the maker in a 'Namaste' pose and be ‘Grateful for all that you have’.

7. Layer Up Wisely

Choose your closing wisely. Clothes should be warm but at the same time comfortable. Layer up. Opt for breathable warm layers. Warm woolen socks and beanies, nice functional gloves, cozy sweaters and a nice jacket can help you feel comfortable and ready to face the cold. Make sure you also don’t miss out on warm winter boots. Keeping your feet warm is key.
